A Simple and Inviting Fall Table Setting

Welcome to my Dining space! It is a part of my Kitchen, small, yet cozy!

Wouldn't it be nice to truly have the time for a small luncheon at home with a good friend! :)

I wanted to share simples steps on how I created this table display.

So, Here we go!

#1. Adding a Table Cloth

Instead of a traditional table cloth, I am using my wool throw. Yes, I have seen this done!

I wanted to add a little creativity and I really liked the idea of fringes hanging off the side of my table. It creates a little welcoming coziness, don't you think?

#2. Next I added my marble cutting board to use as the base of my centerpiece. (Centerpieces' as you will see . . .)

#3. Instead of using traditional chargers for under the place settings, I am using 2 of my wood cutting boards. They have different shapes, but just the right size for my dishes.

I couldn't decide which centerpiece I liked better, so I am going to show you both!

#4. Centerpiece Table Display

Both of my centerpieces are set up the same on the left, with the candle stick, pumpkin and greenery. As you see above, on the right side of the marble board, I added a pedestal server with a colored glass jug on top and added a little more greenery in it. Below is my favorite great white pitcher that stays on my table mostly all year round. So, I felt like I needed to include this as another choice! :)

Now to start setting the table!

#5. Stacking My Dishes

I found my white wheat dishes at Pier 1 Imports! It was buy 1 get 1, 1/2 off! So I bought 2 dinner plates, 2 bread and/or dessert plates, and 2 of these soup bowls, which I absolutely love! I already used the soup bowls for a Chili dinner one night and plan on making some soups as the weather gets cooler.

#6. Added my silverware, wine glasses, colorful fall linen napkins and everything else, PUMPKINS! ~ Pinecone Pumpkins for the bowls ~ Ceramic Pumpkin Salt & Pepper Shakers ~ Tiny Galvanized Pumpkin Napkin rings ~ And borrowed my rope textured Pumpkin from my Kitchen shelf as part of my Centerpiece!

#7. Added some more coziness with chair pillows! I used my anchor pillows, that I flipped over and then turned the sideways, for the stripes to go horizontally. And a couple of wood serving bowls!

So there you go! Simple & Inviting! Anyone care to join me? :)
